Introduction

1. Background and significance of standard revision

GB/T 22859—2018 "Dyed mulberry silk" is one of the important standards of my country's silk industry, which mainly regulates the terminology, specification, technical requirements and inspection methods of dyed mulberry silk. This revision has made a number of technical index adjustments and added new content to the old version of the standard (GB/T 22859—2009), aiming to adapt to the development needs of the industry and the trend of technological progress.
