Introduction
1. Standard Overview
GB/T 22861-2018 "Worsted, Combed, Interwoven and Semi-Worsted Wool Fabrics" national standard replaces the original GB/T 22861-2009 and GB/T 22863-2009. This standard mainly stipulates the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and packaging marks for worsted, combed, interwoven and semi-worsted wool fabrics, and is applicable to the quality identification of all kinds of woven clothing worsted, combed, interwoven and semi-worsted wool fabrics (wool and other animal fiber content 30% or more).
2. Technical Requirements Interpretation
2.1 Basic Safety Requirements
The basic safety technical requirements for worsted, combed, interwoven and semi-worsted wool fabrics must comply with the provisions of GB 18401 to ensure that the product will not cause harm to human health during use.
2.2 Grading Rules
| Quality Grade | Assessment Basis |
|---|---|
| Superior Products | Meet the sealing standards and have no obvious defects. |
| First-class Products | Basically meet the sealing standards, with slight defects allowed. |
| Qualified Products | Meet the minimum quality requirements, with some obvious defects. |
2.3 Intrinsic quality rating
The intrinsic quality rating is mainly based on the physical indicators and color fastness requirements in Tables 1, 2 and 3. Among them, the "machine washable" products are also subject to the assessment of the dimensional change rate after washing.
3. Test method description
3.1 Width deficiency test
The width deficiency is calculated according to formula (1): $$ L=L_{2}-L_{1} $$, where $ L $ is the width deficiency value, $ L_{1} $ is the actual measured width value, and $ L_{2} $ is the set width value.
3.2 Pilling test
The pilling times for worsted style suede products are 40 times, and the pressure is 780 cN; the woolen style is tested according to the method for combed wool fabrics.
4. Analysis of inspection rules
4.1 Sampling for physical and chemical tests
Physical and chemical test samples should be cut at a location more than 5 meters away from both ends of the large piece. The samples should be labeled and relevant information should be recorded.
4.2 Physical quality inspection
The number of physical quality and appearance defects sampled is 4% of the number of pieces delivered of the same variety, but not less than 3 pieces. If it is found that the scattered appearance defects exceed 30% or the local appearance defects exceed 2 braids per 100 meters, it will be judged as unqualified.
5. Implementation suggestions
Manufacturing enterprises should strictly carry out raw material procurement, production and processing, and quality inspection in accordance with standard requirements to ensure that product quality meets national standards. At the same time, it is recommended to conduct standard training for employees on a regular basis and sign clear quality agreements with customers so that quality problems can be resolved in a timely manner.
