This standard is applicable to the bridgstock type damper, including the damper that is used at the single conductor (earth conductor) and multiple conductors. As for other types of dampers, the users may put forward corresponding requirements according to part of provisions specified in this standard.
In most cases, the test method and test parameter of damper may be negotiated by the user and seller and shall be explained in the contract.
