《GB/T 23512-2009石油天然气工业 套管、油管和管线管用螺纹脂的评价与试验》由TC355（全国石油天然气标准化技术委员会）归口，TC355SC9（全国石油天然气标准化技术委员会石油专用管材分会）执行，主管部门为国家标准化管理委员会。
本标准对ISO/API圆螺纹、偏梯形螺纹的套管、油管和管线管连接部位所用螺纹脂的制造、试验和选择，规定了要求、建议和方法。在本标准内概述的试验是用于评价螺纹脂的临界使用性能和试验室情况下的物理性能和化学性能。本标准试验方法主要被用于润滑基脂配方的螺纹脂。对于一些在螺纹连接的润滑和（或）密封中所使用的其它材料，这些试验是不适合的。本标准不适用于旋转台肩式连接所使用的螺纹脂的评价，其评价方法在API RP 7A1中描述。本标准不陈述有关螺纹脂使用和处理的环境问题。

Scope

This standard specifies the requirements, suggestions and methods for the manufacture, testing and selection of thread compound used in the joints of ISO/API round thread and buttress thread casing, oil pipe and line pipe. The tests outlined in this standard are used to evaluate the critical service performance of thread compounds and their physical and chemical properties under laboratory conditions. This standard test method is mainly used for thread grease formulated with lubricating base grease. For some other materials used in the lubrication and (or) sealing of threaded connections, these tests are not suitable. This standard does not apply to the evaluation of thread compound used in rotary shoulder connections, and its evaluation method is described in API RP 7A1. This standard does not address environmental issues related to the use and disposal of thread compound.
