本标准定义了用于描述地理要素的空间特征的概念模式和基于这些模式的一组空间操作。
Scope
This standard defines conceptual schemas for describing the spatial characteristics of geographic features and a set of spatial operations based on these schemas. It handles vector geometry and topology within 3 dimensions, and is the access, query, management, and processing of geographic information for spatial objects (geometric and topological) of no more than 3 topological dimensions in a coordinate space with a maximum of 3 axes and data exchange define standard spatial operations.
