Scope
This standard specifies the determination of phosphorus, manganese, chromium, cobalt, copper and silicon content by inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometry (ICP-AES). This standard is applicable to the determination of phosphorus, manganese, chromium, cobalt, copper and silicon content in ferronickel. The content range of each element to be determined is shown in Table 1. The silicon determined by this method is acid-soluble silicon.
