Introduction

1. Introduction

GB/T 34211-2017 is mainly used to measure the metallurgical properties of iron ore at high temperatures, and is applicable to natural lump ore, sintered ore, pelletized ore and comprehensive furnace charge.

2. Background of Standard Formulation

With the development of the steel industry, higher requirements are placed on the high-temperature metallurgical properties of iron ore. This standard was proposed by the China Iron and Steel Association and was formed after multiple experimental verifications and technical evolution.

4. Experimental steps and result calculation

The test process includes sample preparation, system air tightness inspection, programmed temperature rise and data acquisition. By recording the displacement and temperature curve, the softening range (ΔT1), soft melting range (ΔT2) and melting drop range (ΔT3) are calculated. The results show that this method can accurately evaluate the high temperature performance of iron ore.
