Scope

This standard specifies the basic characteristics of six types of curved tooth timing belts and pulleys including H8M, H14M, R8M, R14M, S8M, and S14M. These characteristics include: belt tooth size, belt tooth pitch, belt length and width, belt Length measurement method, pulley groove size and limit deviation, pulley diameter, pulley width size and limit deviation, shape and position tolerance of pulley. This standard applies to general industrial synchronous belt drives.
