Key points of standard upgrade

Compared with GB/T24825-2009, the main technical changes in this revision include:

  • Hierarchical grading of energy efficiency requirements (see Chapter 13 for new energy efficiency grade specifications)
  • Optimization of line power factor measurement scheme (A.2 Update of capacitive load test circuit)
  • Extended definition of classification including high capacitance/low capacitance modules (new clauses 3.3-3.4)

Design application tips

  • The marking specification must include the line power factor range and the λ marking must retain two decimal places
  • The output voltage/current is controlled within the design margin range of ±10%
  • Use APFC compensation circuit to improve conversion efficiency

Note: Isolation output classification devices should be subject to impulse current verification test in accordance with Appendix A. For the selection of relevant equipment, refer to the latest test circuit diagram in Figure A.1.
