Scope

This standard specifies the water quality requirements for the operation of marine auxiliary boilers (hereinafter referred to as "boilers"). This standard is applicable to oil-fired boilers, exhaust gas boilers, combined oil-fired exhaust gas boilers with a design pressure not greater than 2.5MPa and mediums of water and saturated steam, as well as hot water boilers with a medium outlet temperature not exceeding 120°C.
