Scope

This part specifies the basic principles for introducing environmental factors into low-voltage circuit breakers. This section applies to new or improved product designs. The circuit breakers applicable to this section include universal circuit breakers (ACB), molded case circuit breakers (MCCB), and miniature circuit breakers (MCB). The purpose of this section is to control the impact on the environment at the design stage of the product.
