Scope
This part specifies the basic principles for introducing environmental factors into contactor products (hereinafter referred to as products). This section applies to the design of new or improved products. Contactors used in this section include AC contactors, DC contactors, household and similar contactors, vacuum contactors, air conditioner contactors, etc. The purpose of this section is to control the impact on the environment at the design stage of the product.
