Scope

It is the user's responsibility to take appropriate safety and health measures and ensure compliance with the conditions stipulated in the relevant national laws and regulations. This standard specifies the method for the determination of arsenic content in pulp, paper and board. This standard applies to all kinds of pulp, paper and cardboard that can be digested by nitric acid wet method. This standard provides two methods for the determination of arsenic content, namely hydride atomic fluorescence spectrometry and silver salt colorimetry. The detection limit depends on the detection instrument used. This standard uses a double-channel atomic fluorescence spectrometer to measure, and the detection limit is about 0.01mg/kg. The detection limit of the silver salt colorimetric method is 0.5mg/kg.
