GB/T25146—2010 Quality Acceptance Standard for Chemical Cleaning of Industrial Equipment is an important national standard formulated to address quality issues in the process of chemical cleaning of industrial equipment. The standard was proposed by the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Association and is managed by the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Chemical Machinery and Equipment. It aims to unify the industry's cleaning quality requirements and ensure that industrial equipment can be used safely, reliably and efficiently after chemical cleaning.

Types of dirt and their classification

According to the standard appendix, the dirt in industrial equipment is mainly divided into the following categories:

Carbonate scale CaCO3 not less than 60% Off-white Dissolved in 5% hydrochloric acid solution and produce bubbles, with little or no residue.
Sulfate scale CaSO4 not less than 40% Yellow-white or white Insoluble in 5% hydrochloric acid, adds barium chloride to form a precipitate.

Cleaning quality requirements and test methods
