Semen collection specifications
The new version of the standard clearly recommends the use of equipment semen collection method, while retaining the key points of the traditional hand-held method:
- 0.1% potassium permanganate solution must be used for disinfection before semen collection
- The first 5-10mL of semen ejaculated must be discarded
- The semen collection cup must be preheated to 37±1℃
