Scope

This standard specifies the classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking and storage of solvent-based acrylic resin coatings. This standard applies to solvent-based one-component topcoats with acrylic resin as the main film-forming substance. The products are mainly used for decoration and protection of various metal and plastic surfaces. This standard does not apply to radiation-cured acrylic resin coatings.
