GB/T25347-2020, as a terminology standard in the field of ship fuel and lubricant supply, replaced the 2010 version and achieved three major upgrades: terminology system reconstruction (oil products → fuel and lubricants), operation process refinement (six new process terms), safety control enhancement (addition of definitions such as emergency shut-off). This standard responds to the requirements of the 2020 sulfur limit order of the International Maritime Organization (IMO) and adapts to the development needs of bonded fuel bunkering business.

1. Fuel and lubricant classification system

The standard establishes a three-level classification structure: Ship fuel and lubricant (2.1) → Ship fuel (2.2) / Ship lubricant (2.3). The definition of Self-produced fuel and lubricant (3.8) is newly added to reflect the trend of diversified market procurement.
