This standard applies to compressed gas springs that use nitrogen or other inert gases as energy storage media, and specifies the full life cycle management specifications such as term definitions, marking methods, and technical requirements.

Typical application case

The automobile tailgate support system adopts YQ 10/22-200-500 F650 gas spring. After environmental cycle life test:

  • Force attenuation ≤5% after 1,000 cycles at -40℃/80℃
  • Total attenuation ≤13% after subsequent 18,000 cycles at room temperature
  • Oil carryover <0.5g

Implementation suggestions

Design stage

Preferably use the piston rod diameter (GB/T 2348) and stroke series (GB/T 2349), D/d≥1.1 to ensure structural stability.

Production Control

Key Points:

  1. Coating thickness ≥10μm (QC/T 625)
  2. Extension speed controlled at 50-350mm/s
  3. Liquid damping section length determined by negotiation
