Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification and model, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and signs, packaging, transportation and storage of low-voltage dynamic reactive power compensation devices in the zero transition process. This standard applies to dynamic reactive power compensation devices with AC rated voltage not exceeding 1000V, rated frequency of 50Hz, switching parallel capacitors using semiconductor switching devices and zero-transition process control. Devices with a rated frequency of 60Hz and devices with a rated frequency of 1140V and below can be used as a reference. This standard does not apply to reactive power compensation devices that use mechanical switching devices to switch shunt capacitors.
