Scope
This standard specifies the size of the mechanical connection device between the caravan and light trailer and the towing vehicle when the connection ball is used for traction. The clear space around the connecting ball should be able to meet the connection and disconnection with the tractor, and the operation safety when the mechanical device is connected and disconnected. This standard applies to the connection balls between M and N vehicles and caravan trailers and light trailers (O1, O2 categories), but not for the connection between special vehicles and special trailers.
