Scope

This standard specifies the requirements and test methods for the protection of automobile anti-theft devices. This standard applies to the anti-theft devices of M₁ and N₁ vehicles, and is applicable to N_{s permanently installed on M vehicles and whose maximum design total mass is not greater than 2000kg.
