Scope
This standard specifies the requirements for the strength points of mooring chains, ropes and cables used for anchoring, mooring and towing small boats. This standard does not specify the requirements for strong points of small boats to tow other ships. This standard applies to small boats with a hull length not greater than 24m. This standard does not specify the mass of anchors or the length of chains and cables.
