Introduction

Core Changes in the Standard Revision

Technical Dimension 2010 Edition of the Standard 2025 Edition of the Standard Technical Impact
Expression of Methane Volume Fraction Mole Fraction Aligned with International Standards
New Indicators None Carbon Dioxide ≤3.0%, Particulate Matter ≤5mg/m³ Strengthen Environmental Protection Requirements
Water Dew Point Requirements Fixed Value Dynamic ambient temperature correlation Improve regional adaptability

Analysis of key technical indicators

Methane content classification:The new standard divides vehicle compressed coalbed methane into Class I (≥90%) and Class II (83%-90%). When testing with gas chromatograph, attention should be paid to the standard reference conditions (101.325kPa, 20℃).

Hydrogen sulfide control:The limit value is reduced from the original standard 20mg/m³ to 12mg/m³. The detection method preferably adopts GB/T 11060.1 iodine titration method. When using ultraviolet fluorescence sulfur analyzer, regular calibration is required.

Key points for implementation and application

  1. Odorization management:Leakage concentration must be detectable when it reaches 1%, and tetrahydrothiophene (THT) is recommended as an odorizer
  2. Filtration system:It is mandatory to install a particulate filter with a filter element of ≤5μm
  3. Storage and transportation containers:Must meet the dual requirements of TSG21 and TSG23 at the same time, and perform pressure tests regularly

Background of standard evolution

This revision responds to the national dual carbon strategy, and the main changes are reflected in: ①Increasing the CO₂ index to promote low carbonization; ②Particulate matter control matches the National VI emission standard; ③Dynamic water dew point requirements adapt to the low temperature environment in the north. The engineering practice of Shanxi Blue Flame Group shows that the new standard can reduce coalbed methane vehicle exhaust emissions by 18%.
