Scope

This standard is divided into two parts. The first part covers the general use of spectroradiometers to measure the spectral power distribution of any light source by reference to photometric and chromatic test results. The second part deals with the measurement of different kinds of lamps, especially tubular fluorescent lamps. If necessary, more sections should be added to extend the scope of this standard to other types of light sources.
