Setting of supervision control points
According to Clause 8.1.4 of the standard, three types of control points need to be distinguished:
- R point (document witness): review of design drawings, process documents, etc.
- W point (on-site witness): key processes such as welding and heat treatment process
- H point (stop point): supervisor signature confirmation is required before pressure testing
Case: A petrochemical project set 12 W points and 3 H points in the reactor manufacturing, which effectively prevented the problem of material misuse.
