Scope

This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules and signs, packaging, transportation, storage and safety of dimethyl ether used in vehicle fuels. This standard is applicable to dimethyl ether for vehicle fuel produced by dehydration of methanol gas phase method or liquid phase method, or dimethyl ether for vehicle fuel directly synthesized from synthesis gas. This product is used as a raw material for vehicle fuel. Chemical formula: CH₃OCH₃ Relative molecular mass: 46.07 (according to the international relative atomic mass in 2007)
