Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification, specifications and marks, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, packaging, transportation and storage, etc. of fiber-reinforced composite bars for structural engineering (hereinafter referred to as composite bars). This standard applies to fiber-reinforced composite tendons with a diameter of less than 20 mm used as reinforcing materials for stressed members in civil engineering structures.
