Scope

This part of GB/T 26949 specifies the stability and verification methods related to the safety of industrial vehicles defined in ISO 5053. Industrial vehicles referred to in this part are self-propelled or pedestrian vehicles with wheels, except for vehicles running on rails. These vehicles can be operator-controlled or unmanned for handling, towing, jacking, lifting, stacking or layering within racks. This standard specifies additional stability tests used to verify the stacking operation of vehicles under the conditions of mast tilting forward and load lifting. This section applies to the following types of vehicles: a) Counterbalanced forklift trucks with a tiltable mast specified in ISO 22915-2; b) Reachable ( telescopic masts or forks) and forklift trucks; c) pallet stackers with tiltable masts as specified in ISO 22915-4; d) pallet trucks with tiltable masts as specified in ISO 22915-7 Two-way and multi-way operation (telescopic mast or fork) forklifts; e) rough-terrain forklifts with tiltable masts specified in ISO 22915-13; Counterbalanced forklift with articulated steering of the mast.
