Scope
This standard specifies the types, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, packaging, transportation and storage of battery pallet trucks (hereinafter referred to as pallet trucks). This standard applies to battery-powered pallet trucks whose upper surface of the battery-powered fork is not more than 300 mm above the ground. This standard also applies to battery handling vehicles with platform-type forks.
