Scope

This standard specifies the gravimetric method for the determination of wet moisture in copper sulfide, lead and zinc concentrates. This standard applies to the determination of moisture in copper sulfide, lead and zinc concentrate samples that do not contain volatile organic flotation agents (such as kerosene). Correction of analysis results of sample components. This standard is not applicable to easily oxidizable sulfide concentrates (see Note 6.3). For the determination of wet storage moisture of easily oxidizable sulfide concentrates, refer to Appendix A.
