Implementation suggestions

1. Special pipe section processing

For tees with openings>30% of the outer diameter of the pipe, baffles should be set according to Appendix A:

  • DN350 and below: only longitudinal baffles
  • DN500 and above: baffle height ≥100mm

2. Data verification requirements

The test report must meet the following requirements:

  • ≥5 verification points per 100 kilometers (14.1.1)
  • POD and confidence ≥ 80% (14.1.2)
  • Include ERF value calculation (13.2.4)
