Scope

This standard specifies the terminology, product model, requirements, inspection methods and rules, signs, packaging, transportation and storage of automatic weighing instruments. This standard also provides standardized requirements, test procedures and tables for evaluating the metrological characteristics or technical characteristics of automatic sorting weighing instruments in a traceable manner. This standard applies to automatic weighing instruments for weighing prepackaged discrete loads or bulk single loads.
