Scope

This standard specifies the classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marks, packaging, transportation, storage, etc. of reference electrodes for pH value determination. This standard is applicable to reference electrodes of general type saturated potassium chloride with mercury/mercurous chloride and silver/silver chloride as internal electrode materials, and other reference electrodes shall be implemented by reference.
