Scope

This standard gives the classification method of laminated composite gasket materials (LCGM) for industrial use. The performance of materials in this method is not necessary and not all, so this standard is only used as the basis for describing and selecting laminated composite gasket materials . This standard applies to laminated composite gasket materials. This standard does not apply to overwrapped gaskets, nor does it apply to gasket coatings.
