Scope

This standard describes the electrical load of electrical and electronic systems and components for a 42 V supply voltage, and specifies tests and requirements for single or multiple voltage systems. This standard also provides design guidance for the interaction of 42V with other voltage systems. This standard applies to automotive 42V electrical and electronic systems/components.
