Scope

This standard specifies the basic performance parameters and evaluation methods of the radiographic film digitization system, the technical performance level of the radiographic film digitization and the standard reference film, and specifies the performance level of the system used for the radiographic film digitization of steel and aluminum workpieces. . This standard applies to techniques and systems for converting radiographic film into digital images. This standard does not apply to the subsequent processing and display of digitized images on film.
