Scope
This standard specifies the method for estimating the radon-222 precipitation rate of uranium tailings (slag) based on parameters such as radium specific activity, radon-222 diffusion coefficient and emanation coefficient, and tailings (slag) dry density. This standard applies to the estimation of the average radon exhalation rate of uranium tailings (slag) pools.
