Scope

This standard specifies the basic requirements for the type and size of high-precision trapezoidal thread broaching taps, thread tolerance, technical requirements, marking and packaging. This standard applies to high-precision trapezoidal thread broaching taps (hereinafter referred to as taps) for machining trapezoidal threads (levels 7, 8, and 9 in JB/T 2886-2008 are not used as nuts).
