《GB/T 28799.2-2020冷热水用耐热聚乙烯(PE-RT)管道系统 第2部分:管材》由TC48(全国塑料制品标准化技术委员会)归口,TC48SC3(全国塑料制品标准化技术委员会塑料管材、管件及阀门分会)执行,主管部门为中国轻工业联合会。
Introduction
Interpretation of the core content of the standard
GB/T 28799.2-2020, as the core standard for heat-resistant polyethylene pipe systems, has comprehensively upgraded the technical requirements for PE-RT pipes. Compared with the 2012 edition, the following aspects have been strengthened:
Material classification and applicable scope
| Type | Applicable temperature | Typical application | Restrictions |
|---|---|---|---|
| PE-RTⅠType | ≤70℃ | Building hot and cold water system | Not applicable to hot spring system |
| PE-RTⅡType | ≤95℃ | Central heating secondary pipe network/hot spring system | Need to pass thermal stability verification |
Comparison of key technical indicators
Hydrostatic strength requirements
The new standard makes differentiated provisions for the hydrostatic test conditions of the two types of materials:
- PE-RTⅠ type: 95℃/22h test pressure increased from 3.5MPa to 3.6MPa
- PE-RTⅡ type: New 95℃/1000h long-term performance test (3.8MPa)
New requirements for physical properties
Compared with the 2012 version, the 2020 version adds a number of key indicators:
- Ash content limit (colored pipe ≤0.8%)
- Oxidation induction time after 95℃/1000h test ≥24min
- PE-RTⅡ type dedicated to hot spring pipes must pass a 500h slow crack growth resistance test
Implementation Key Points
Pipe Series Selection Method
Based on the design pressure and service condition level, the pipe series S should be determined according to the following steps:
1. Confirm the service condition level (1-5 levels)
2. Refer to Table 1/Table 2 to obtain the design stress σD
3. Calculate according to the formula S=σD/PD and round it
4. Verify 20℃ cold water conditions (S≤6.6)
Quality Control Key Points
| Inspection type | Key items | Sampling plan |
|---|---|---|
| Factory inspection | 20℃/1h+95℃/22h hydrostatic test | 3 pipes are randomly selected from each batch |
| Type inspection | 95℃/1000h long-term performance test | 3 years/time or when the process is changed |
Technology evolution analysis
The revision of this standard reflects three major technological trends:
- Application expansion: Added application specifications of PE-RTⅡ in hot spring/central heating systems
- Performance enhancement: Improve long-term reliability by increasing oxidation induction time and slow crack test
- Size expansion: The upper limit of pipe outer diameter is increased from 315mm to 450mm to meet large flow requirements
Note: For barrier pipes, special attention should be paid to excluding the thickness of the barrier layer when measuring the wall thickness (see clause 9.3.2 of the standard)
