Scope

This standard specifies the definition and classification of space science experiment data products, general file naming rules for raw data and data products, and the format of various types of data products. This standard applies to data products of space science experiment satellites and manned space science experiments, excluding data products of earth observation satellites such as meteorology, oceanography, and resources. Data products of other satellites can be used as a reference.
