Scope

This standard specifies the detection methods for the serological and molecular biological characteristics of banana bract mosaic virus. This standard is applicable to the detection of banana bract mosaic virus in host plant materials such as banana tissue culture seedlings and plants of the genus Musa, and also applicable to the detection of the virus in transmission media such as aphids.
