Analysis of the core content of the standard

GB/T 290-2017 specifies the serialized dimensions of drawn cup needle roller bearings without inner rings, which are applicable to the inner diameter range of bearing sets from 3mm to 68mm. Compared with the 1998 version, the 71D/22D/32D series and seal structure types are newly added.

Typical structural parameters

Take HK1416-2RS type bearing as an example:

  • Inner diameter of needle roller set Fw=14mm
  • Outer diameter of outer ring D=20mm
  • Outer ring width C=16mm
  • End thickness C₂≤1.3mm

The sealing structure can effectively prevent grease leakage and is suitable for working conditions such as automobile gearboxes.


Implementation suggestions

  1. Pay special attention to the C₁/C₂ size limit when selecting to avoid interference with the shaft end
  2. Full complement needle roller type (FY series) is suitable for high load occasions
  3. Oil hole diameter is selected according to Table 9 to ensure lubrication effect
  4. Conversion between old and new models requires checking specific size parameters

This standard has been revised five times from 1964→1982→1989→1998→2017, reflecting the development path of my country's stamping bearing technology from imitation to independent innovation.
