Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, requirements, measurement methods and inspection rules for the rolling resistance limit standard of automobile tires. This standard applies to new car radial pneumatic tires and new truck radial pneumatic tires. This standard does not apply to spare tires for temporary use only, special ST tires for road trailers, high-passability tires for light-duty trucks, and truck tires with a speed capacity of 80 km/h or below.
