Scope
This part of GB/T 29168 specifies the delivery technical conditions applicable to the elbows manufactured by induction heating in the piping system designed in accordance with GB/T 24259. It can also be used for induction heating elbows in piping systems designed in accordance with other specifications. Refer to use. This section applies to induction heating elbows made of carbon steel or low alloy steel seamless steel pipes and welded steel pipes as parent pipes. This part specifies two product specification levels (PSL), induction heating elbow specification level and ISO 3183 corresponding. This section does not apply to the selection of specification grades for induction heating elbow products. It is the purchaser's responsibility to specify a product specification level (PSL) based on application and design requirements; see ISO 3183 for specific requirements. This section does not apply to pipeline elbows produced by other processes.
