Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, product classification, basic parameters, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, packaging, transportation and storage of basic electrophoresis devices. This standard applies to split-type basic electrophoresis devices (hereinafter referred to as electrophoresis devices) whose electrophoresis voltage is not greater than 10kV. This standard does not apply to electrophoresis devices with fixed value output and electrophoresis analysis systems that perform semi-automatic or fully automatic processing from procedures such as sample addition, electrophoresis, staining, decolorization, gel scanning and result processing.
