Scope

This standard specifies the basic requirements, personnel requirements, management requirements, environment and facilities and equipment requirements, service content and requirements of elderly care institutions. This standard applies to the operation and management of full-time elderly care institutions. This standard does not apply to part-time community day care or nursing service institutions for the elderly.
