Scope

This standard specifies the requirements, tests, inspection rules, signs, packaging, storage and transportation of medium and high-power biogas generator sets (hereinafter referred to as "units"). This standard applies to reciprocating internal combustion engine-driven AC power-frequency generator sets with a rated frequency of 50 Hz or 60 Hz, a power of not less than 250 kW, and biogas (with a methane content of not less than 30%) as the main fuel.
