《GB/T 3007-2017耐火材料 含水量试验方法》由TC193(全国耐火材料标准化技术委员会)归口,TC193SC3(全国耐火材料标准化技术委员会试验方法分会)执行,主管部门为国家标准化管理委员会。

Introduction

1. Standard background and revision notes

GB/T 3007-2017 "Test method for moisture content of refractory materials" is an important standard in the refractory industry, which is used to determine the free water content in refractory materials. This standard replaces the old version GB/T 3007—2006, and has been revised significantly in the following aspects:

  • Added reference standards: GB/T 4513.2, GB/T 4513.3 and GB/T 10325
  • Optimized the graduation value requirement of the electronic balance and changed it to one ten-thousandth of the sample weight
  • Updated the sampling method and added specific requirements for shaped and unshaped refractory materials
  • Adjusted the drying temperature range and time requirements
  • Added suggestions for accuracy assurance for large sample weights

2. Standard Framework Comparison Table

Standard Requirements GB/T 3007—2006 GB/T 3007—2017
Division value of electronic balance 0.001g One ten-thousandth of the sample weight
Drying temperature range - 110°C ±5°C
Sampling method Unspecified GB/T 4513.2 and GB/T 4513.3

3. Analysis of key technical points

Term explanation: Water content refers to the ratio of the mass of free water in the refractory sample to the original mass of the sample, usually expressed as a percentage.

Determination principle:The free water content is determined by drying the sample at 105°C~110°C and measuring its weight loss. The weight loss is the mass of the free water.

Actual application case: A refractory material factory updated its laboratory equipment and optimized the sampling process in accordance with the requirements of the new standard, significantly improving the detection efficiency and accuracy.

4. Implementation suggestions

  • Staff training:Ensure that technical personnel are familiar with the revisions and operating requirements of the new version of the standard.
  • Equipment calibration:Regularly calibrate the electronic balance and electric drying oven to ensure measurement accuracy.
  • Record management:Standardize the preparation of test reports, including all necessary information such as sample number, test results, etc.
