Introduction

1. Standard Overview

GB/T 30256-2023 "Technical Requirements for Energy Saving Measurement and Verification - Motor Systems" replaces GB/T 30256-2013 and GB/T 30257-2013, expands the scope of application and adds new technical requirements. This standard is mainly applicable to energy-saving transformation projects of AC electric driven fan systems, pump liquid delivery systems and general air compressor systems.

2. Background of Standard Formulation

With the country's emphasis on energy conservation and environmental protection, the energy-saving transformation of motor systems, as high-energy-consuming equipment, has become an important part of achieving the goal of carbon neutrality. The formulation of this standard aims to standardize the energy-saving measurement and verification methods to ensure the accuracy and comparability of energy-saving effects.

4. Measurement and verification methods

The standard specifies two main measurement methods:

  • Base period energy consumption-influencing factor model method: A regression model is established based on historical data, which is suitable for projects with complete data.
  • Direct comparison method: By turning off and on energy-saving measures, the energy consumption changes are compared, which is suitable for projects where complete historical data cannot be obtained.

5. Implementation Suggestions

Case Study: Air Compressor System Transformation of a Certain Enterprise

By adopting stepless air volume regulation technology, a certain enterprise achieved an annual electricity saving of 147,5507 kW·h. During the implementation process:

  • Clearly define the project boundaries, including the control system, drive system, and piping system.
  • Choose an appropriate measurement method (base period energy consumption-influencing factor model method) and establish a regression model.
  • Perform uncertainty analysis to ensure the accuracy of the measurement results.
