Scope

This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging and storage of marine incandescent lighting lamps (hereinafter referred to as lamps). This standard applies to marine lighting fixtures with AC (rated frequency 50Hz or 60Hz) or DC power supply voltage below 250V and incandescent lamps as light sources.
